We check components against known configurations for that reference and production period, and anything inconsistent is either repriced accordingly or turned away.
Provenance — prior ownership history, service records, original papers — adds confidence but is not a substitute for physical inspection; a watch with no paperwork can still pass, and a watch with full paperwork can still fail.
